Battlecruiser
These gigantic, heavily armed battleships are flying fortresses constructed to secure the Koprulu Sector’s space routes and keep the peace. Equipped with powerful laser batteries and protected by heavy neosteel armor plates, these space cruisers are among the most powerful starships in the entire Terran dominion. It was not uncommon for commanders to use heavy cruisers as their flagships during their extended campaigns. Some of the most famous examples of these specially converted cruisers are the Norad II and Norad III under the command of General Duke, and Jim Raynor’s flagship Hyperion.
The veteran Behemoth-class heavy cruisers are considered to be very reliable and durable, provided they are regularly upgraded. Even the more modern battleships of the Hercules and Minotaur classes have retained the hammerhead design so typical of Terran heavy cruisers. Recent research has also led to the development of two alternative weapon configurations, adding to the already impressive armament of the cruiser.
The Yamato Cannon is a powerful weapon that uses a powerful magnetic field to focus a nuclear blast into a continuous beam of energy. While firing this weapon requires an enormous amount of energy, the end result is impressive, to say the least. Plasma torpedoes, in turn, allow a cruiser to unleash a firestorm on a selected target area, effectively repelling enemy attack waves or easily destroying enemy defenses. As with the Yamato Cannon, the Battlecruiser must first build up a sufficient power reserve before it can bombard an area with plasma torpedoes.

TERRAN
General Information
The Terrans can neither boast impressive technologies nor unbeatable masses, they seem to be the least dangerous race in the Starcraft universe. However, this is also their strength, often underestimated by the enemy, they can attack from ambush and thus take advantage of the surprise effect. The Terran forces are often formed from prisoners who want to shorten their sentence. These fighters, assigned to the infantry, are often poorly trained, but have an iron will to fight. Smaller war machines, such as the infamous tanks, are often used to support the foot troops.
The Terrans’ greatest enemy seems to be the Terrans themselves: Shattered by internal conflicts and wars, the Terrans have never been able to form a cohesive army to reach their full potential.
