The FN Five-Seven is a semi-automatic pistol that appears in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

Campaign
The Five-Seven appears in Turbulence where it is used by the FSO agents before the plane crashes, also Makarov uses one while facing Agent Harkov. While kicking in a door at the end of Scorched Earth, Frost uses the Five-Seven from Sandman’s mount to eliminate two Inner Circle soldiers.
Multiplayer
The Five-Seven is unlocked at level 58. It has the lowest damage of all the pistols in the game, but still kills with three hits in close combat, like the USP .45 and the P99, plus it has less recoil than those two. It has the largest magazine capacity of any pistol (16 by default, 24 with magazine expansion) and when reloading, the magazine slips into the gun almost instantly, especially Akimbo, so reloading with dexterity is done in less than a second. The Five-Seven has a fire limit of 1000 rounds per minute, putting it behind the P99.

Campaign
After unlocking the Five-Seven, the player can add it to the starter class before each mission.
This pistol is used by Farid when Menendez orders him to kill Mike Harper with it. He either carries out this order or tries to kill Menendez with it, which fails. When Harper is killed, Farid later carries his Five-Seven in Ulysses and kills DeFalco with it (if he is present).
Multiplayer
In Black Ops II’s multiplayer, the Five-Seven is the first pistol you can use because it’s unlocked from the start. It does a lot of damage at close range, has the largest magazine of all the pistols and very low recoil, plus a higher rate of fire than its competitor, the Tac-45. The potential is 2 hits to kill, but once you get exactly 2.54 meters away from the enemy, the Five-Seven already takes four hits. The long barrel is therefore not a bad choice, but not a necessary one either. The silencer is more worth considering, because unlike previous titles, the range is not so limited by this attachment, and the range from which you need three hits to kill is quite far anyway. The reflex sight makes the Five-Seven a useful backup for someone who plays with a shotgun as their primary weapon. Thanks to the high damage and enormous magazine size, Akimbo is well worth using because you can take out a lot of enemies before you need to reload. The only downside to this attachment is its incredible inaccuracy outside of close combat. A patch has since increased the Five-Seven’s 2-hit range to 7.62 meters.
Survival Combat
The Five-Seven is available both individually and in Akimbo for 950 points at the mystery crate. The Akimbo version appears in Mob of the Dead, but not the single pistol. In Origins, you can buy the Five-Seven for 1100 points at the wall, and the double-handed pistol remains in the mysterious crate. The single pistol has a magazine of 20 bullets, Akimbo both pistols have a mere 15 bullets. While the name of the punched pistol is Ultra, both punched pistols together are called Ultra & Brutal.
Both the Akimbo version and the single-handed pistol have an insane ammo supply, which makes them increase in value. Recoil is low and damage-wise they can keep up with most assault rifles when it comes to damage per bullet. The rate of fire is slightly above that of the starter pistol, which of course allows you to achieve more damage with double-fire malt beer. You can see the Five-Seven as the spiritual successor to the CZ75, the only difference being that the punched CZ75 was fully automatic at the time, a feature the Ultra lacks. Ultra & Brutal make you faster and can knife faster, plus the firepower is boosted, which is why you can easily use the two pistols as primary weapons until round 15.

- During the section in Turbulence where gravity fails, the Five-Seven has a different reload animation. The magazine just flies away, so the player doesn’t even take it out themselves.
- When using the Five-Seven Akimbo, the left gun sounds like the USP .45, and the same thing happens with the P99.
- Akimbo does not increase the reserve ammo, which means you only have one magazine in reserve. This is also true for the P99, the USP .45, and the Desert Eagle.
- In the first-person view, you hold the gun with one hand, while to everyone else it looks like you’re holding the pistol like a rifle. This is also true for the P99, the MP412, and the G18.
- If you drop the gun in turbulence during gravity failure and pick it up again after gravity returns, you use the Five-Seven variant used when gravity was gone for the rest of the mission (the character holds the gun crooked and magazines just fly away).
Black Ops II
- The reload animation actually looks exactly like that of the ASP from Call of Duty: Black Ops, but with the Fast Magazine attachment it turns into a sped-up animation of the KAP-40.
- Akimbo, each Five-Seven has a different firing sound and also makes different clicking sounds when the guns are empty.
- The Five-Seven is DeFalco’s favorite weapon.
- If you use the gold camo, the first magazine is gold, but if you insert a new magazine, it is black.
- Even when the gun is reloaded because the magazine is completely empty, the character throws away what appears to be a full magazine.
- Russman uses double-handed five-sevens in the cutscene of Die Rise.
- Emblems are placed on the five-seven in the mirror image.
- The Makarov from Black Ops II is a redesigned Five-Seven, with the same reload animation, fire sound, and first-person view, only the stats have been adjusted slightly.
- All the characters that pull the Five-Seven on the mysterious box are happy and make a positive comment.
