The Noble Garden Festival is one of the classic holidays that also come up with special event activities and rewards in WoW Classic. However, the Classic version of the Noble Garden in Classic WoW differs significantly from the Noble Garden in Retail WoW. This is because the event in WoW Classic only lasts for one day – to be exact, it takes place today, Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020 and lasts until midnight.
The Noblegarden Festival in WoW Classic (buy it now) consists of an egg hunt in Azeroth. Unlike in WoW Classic, there are no merchants selling items for event currency, and there are no pets or mounts as rewards. The Classic event’s candy rewards are also primarily aimed at low-level characters. Only the three clothing items are also of interest to high-level heroes who want to earn some gold or role-play.
During the Classic event, players can find brightly painted eggs hiding special holiday rewards in the six starting zones of Azeroth (Dun Morogh, Elwynn, Teldrassil, Durotar, Mulgore, and Tirisfal Glades). Note: There are no special event quests that you can complete as part of the Classic Noble Garden Festival.

The brightly painted eggs can be found anywhere in the starting zones, but they appear in specific locations (similar to ore and herb nodes) and have a three-minute respawn timer. The eggs come in different color combinations, but these have no effect on their contents. You can hold multiple brightly colored eggs in your inventory at once, but the eggs cannot be stacked.

The three garments are among the rare rewards and have less than a one percent chance of being included in the eggs. Since the rewards from the Noblegarden eggs are not soulbound, you can sell them in the auction house – this still works after the event and can fetch you a nice sum of gold, as RP fans especially covet these fancy dresses.
Camera angles, ground textures and twinks – tips for hunting eggs in the classic noble garden
The eggs you can collect during the noble garden festival are hidden everywhere in the starting areas, both openly on the ground and in bushes, under trees or next to rocks. To make your search for the eggs as easy as possible, please follow these tips:
- Sets the level of detail for ground and environment textures to the lowest level in the system settings under graphics. This makes it easier for you to see the eggs because the game will display fewer bushes, rocks, and other potentially obstructive graphic details.
- Use different camera angles – sometimes it’s easier to see the eggs from a different perspective.
- Hordlers have an especially easy time in Mulgore, where the eggs contrast best against the green grass. The same goes for Dun Morogh and the White Snow on the Alliance side. However, you probably have to reckon with the biggest egg hunt competition here.
- Have your alts hunt for eggs in different zones. This allows you to quickly switch zones if your favorite area gets too crowded.
- Use higher level heroes when going on egg hunts to avoid mob encounters. You only encounter enemies with a maximum level of 13 in the starting zones, who will ignore you as soon as your level is high enough.

Getting Started
All players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time on their accounts have access toWoW Classic at no additional cost.
- Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and select World of Warcraft from the menu.
- Select World of Warcraft Classic from the Version menu. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second Account drop-down list. In this column, select the active account you want to play with.
- Click the Install button. The progress bar will tell you when your game is ready to play.
- Click the Play button when the installation is complete.
You will need to select the realm you want to play on from several different realm types. Make sure you choose the same realm as your friends – in World of Warcraft Classic, you can only group with characters that are on the same realm as you!
