The southwestern wing of Naxxramas serves as a training ground for the Lich King’s Death Knights. That’s why you’ll often meet Death Knights in the Military District – you’ll find many of them among the bosses as well as among the normal enemies. The difficulty level increases as you progress in the game. Ideally, your raid should look like this:
* Two tanks: it doesn’t matter which tank class you prefer, but paladins and death knights have a slight advantage against Gothik’s minions.
* Three Healers: Razuvious and Gothik can also have two healers, but the four knights at the end of the game require three healing heroes. The shadow resistance that priests boost will help you in many battles.
* Five Damage Dealers: For the fight against the four knights you should take at least two ranged fighters, otherwise it’s up to you which classes you choose.

Right at the beginning, a patrol guards the entrance to the military district and will attack you with many different area spells.
* The specter uses a shadow lightning volley, but is vulnerable to stun effects. It also opens a portal of shadows and summons a ghost. You can’t attack him, but that’s not a hindrance. Since his movement speed is quite slow, you should run away from him until he disappears.
* The two Necro Knights blink around and cast blast waves, cold cones, a frost nova, torch blasts, and arcane blasts. You can interrupt the last two spells. They are also vulnerable to stun spells.
* Then you’ll encounter different groups with different compositions. The captains put a plague on the tank and summon an undead minion – kill them first. Then it’s on to the regular death knights. Beware of the dark-skinned warriors. They occasionally charge around uncontrollably in a whirlwind. Fortunately, however, they are vulnerable to any form of enemy control.
* In the room with the large anvil are skeleton blacksmiths with no skills to speak of. Stick to the left side of the forge room and ignore the bony constructs on the other side.
* After more groups of death knights, you will reach a floor below. There you must defeat all enemies, otherwise they will intervene in the fight with instructor Razuvious.
* Death Knight Chevaliers will gladly silence your healers and after a while will dismount from their warhorse to attack as a duo.
After Razuvious’s training area, you’ll reach a hall full of weapons. However, these are alive and ghosting around in doubles. Make sure you only fight one group at a time, as they are not without danger.
* The axes kill the tank with a fatal blow and reduce the effectiveness of healing effects by 50 percent. Dodge Whirlwind.
* The staffs cast arcane blasts and frost novas. They also randomly turn players into sheep.
* The swords are not particularly dangerous, but perform a cleave attack. After that, you’ll again encounter the Schemes and Necro Knights from the beginning of the instance. Death knights should also not be missing in the following passage before you enter Gothik’s hall.
After the fight against Gothik, run along the outer wing through the last few meters of the military district. On your way you’ll encounter well-known standard opponents, with whom you shouldn’t have any more problems.
What is WoW Classic?

Getting Started
All players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time on their accounts have access toWoW Classic at no additional cost.
- Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and select World of Warcraft from the menu.
- Select World of Warcraft Classic from the Version menu. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second Account drop-down list. In this column, select the active account you want to play with.
- Click the Install button. The progress bar will tell you when your game is ready to play.
- Click the Play button when the installation is complete.
You will need to select the realm you want to play on from several different realm types. Make sure you choose the same realm as your friends – in World of Warcraft Classic, you can only group with characters that are on the same realm as you!
