The fourth and final wing of the Auchindoun instance complex, the Shadow Maze, is suitable for players of the seventieth level and houses four bosses. In our guide you will learn all the tricks and tips for the instance.
In order to enter the Shadow Maze at all, at least one member of your party must have defeated the final boss of Sethekk Halls, Claw Lord Ikiss. He drops a key that opens the gate to the entrance of the instance. For the heroic mode, you will also need an honorable reputation with the Lower Quarter faction. Then you’ll be able to get the Key of Auchenai from Nakodu in the city of Shattrath. In heroic mode, you can expect tougher enemies that deal more damage than in normal mode.
Ambassador Hellmouth
If you can get a handle on the Ambassador’s fear effect, the battle is half won. Only the tank should have to deal with the CORROSIVE ACID.
CORROSIVE ACID:
1500 points of damage every 3 seconds for 15 seconds – The ability reduces your armor stats.
AOE FEAR EFFECT:
Causes a fear effect within its melee range for 5 seconds
Blackheart the Stalker
Before using CHAOS PENS, you should try to minimize your own damage. Only a quick use of the mock button will help you lose the threat of WAR DONORS and CHAOS PENS.
WAR THUNDER:
Knocks back all nearby players. Deals over 2,000 damage and reduces the threat to everyone affected.
CHARGE:
Randomly applied to a party member. Stuns the target for 1 second and deals over 500 damage.
CHAOS PENS:
Mind control effect on all party members that lasts for 15 seconds. This effect cannot be removed or resisted. Resets the threat of Blackheart.
Grandmaster Vorpil
In the best case, no empty traveler should reach the Grandmaster. You avoid the FIRE RAIN almost completely by leaving the podium quickly. You must heal away the damage that SHADOW LIGHTNING SALVATION has caused.
CONJURATION:
Vorpil summons void travelers. These always move in the direction of their master and explode when you arrive. The explosion heals Vorpil by 5 percent and deals over 2,000 points of shadow damage to any nearby player.
SHADOW CLOTHING:
Every 30 seconds, Vorpil teleports himself and all players to his pedestal.
RAIN OF FIRE:
After teleporting, Vorpil immediately begins casting a rain of fire. All players on the pedestal take over 1,000 points of fire damage per second.
SHADOWBOLT RESCUE:
This ability occurs in short bursts. Each affected player suffers over 1,500 points of Shadow damage.
Murmur
A player must always be within melee range of Murmur to avoid RESONANCE. The exception is SUPERSONIC BANG, where each player should be outside the ring. MURMURS TOUCH is responded to with a quick jump into the nearby tent.
MURMURS TOUCH:
Inflicts a debuff on the target. After 15 seconds, the affected player explodes, dealing over 4000 points of arcane damage to themselves and any nearby companions. Also silences any player hit for 5 seconds.
TONBANG:
Within its ring, all affected players lose between 70 and 85 percent of their maximum health. After that, the target is affected by a 6-second DoT that drains an additional 12 percent of their maximum Health.

Getting Started
All players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time on their accounts have access toWoW Classic at no additional cost.
- Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and select World of Warcraft from the menu.
- Select World of Warcraft Classic from the Version menu. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second Account drop-down list. In this column, select the active account you want to play with.
- Click the Install button. The progress bar will tell you when your game is ready to play.
- Click the Play button when the installation is complete.
You will need to select the realm you want to play on from several different realm types. Make sure you choose the same realm as your friends – in World of Warcraft Classic, you can only group with characters that are on the same realm as you!
