WoW: Which era of WoW has the best music theme? opinion poll

All WoW players have it in their ears, the main musical theme, which is always played when you are on the login screen. Each expansion of World of Warcraft has its own version of the “Main Music Theme” – and we want to know which variant you like the most.

In their current part of the jukebox series , the colleagues from massivelyop have taken us on a musical nostalgia trip into the past of World of Warcraft – and we enjoyed this trip into the past so much that we want to share it with you.

The author wanted to know which version of WoW’s main music theme the readers liked – after all, from Classic to Legion, Blizzard played a total of seven times, and all variants of the Warcraft main theme can be heard.

Of course, we also asked ourselves this question and crowned our personal favourites. For example, Susanne prefers to hear the sound of Classic and MoP, while Nico and Lukas prefer the dark rhythm of WotLK. Tanja also likes the theme, but she also likes the drums in the WoD theme.

What is WoW Classic?

World of Warcraft Classic is a true recreation of the original WoW as you know it from 2006. All parts of the game – from combat mechanics and talent trees to character models and zones – have been recreated, contributing to the authentic experience.

Getting Started

All players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time on their accounts have access toWoW Classic at no additional cost.

1. Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and select World of Warcraft from the menu.
2. Select World of Warcraft Classic from the Version menu. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second Account drop-down list. In this column, select the active account you want to play with.
3. Click the Install button. The progress bar will tell you when your game is ready to play.
4. Click the Play button when the installation is complete.

You will need to select the realm you want to play on from several different realm types. Make sure you choose the same realm as your friends – in World of Warcraft Classic, you can only group with characters that are on the same realm as you!
